WHAT TO EXPECT AT ISTANBUL ILLUSIONS MUSEUM

Upside-Down Room: You are in the most beloved place of Istanbul Illusions Museum. Are you ready for a radical change in your perspective of the world? How about 90 degrees? You’ll have incredible photos! The only limit is your imagination. Create an illusion that will make you the star of Instagram by navigating in your imaginary world!

Vortex Tunnel: When was the last time you felt like the ground was slipping beneath your feet when you saw someone? We’re talking about a moment when your head turns 100% while nothing else moves. A situation where you can’t control your body’s reactions. The Vortex Tunnel will make you feel like you’re going crazy, and it will make you think that keeping your body balanced on a rotating cylinder is impossible. However, you’ll be standing on a flat and steady surface throughout the whole process. Screaming and laughing are allowed!

Infinity Room: Many of us imagine a place where magic and fun never end, a place that lasts forever. The Wonderland we created in the Infinity Room is ready to turn your dreams into reality! The Infinity Room, also known as the Mirrors Room, will open the doors to the Wonderland for you! Full-length mirrors placed on all walls of the room create an optical illusion of an infinite space.

Ames Room: There’s a giant in one corner of the room and a dwarf in the other! In this incredible illusion room, you’ll witness a person walking back and forth, seemingly growing and shrinking in front of your eyes. This space, which looks like an ordinary room at first glance, provides visitors with an unforgettable visual illusion through cleverly designed games.

Head on a Plate: Have you ever wanted to see someone’s “head on a plate”? Now you can make your dream come true. An illusion of a “head on a plate,” where the body is hidden, awaits you. But don’t worry, no one will get hurt. It’s just an illusion.

Complex Cylinder: The complex cylinder illusion offers a special geometric shape that allows you to see a square or a cylinder depending on the viewing angle. You place any object in front of a box with mirrors so that it can be seen from two angles at any moment. By moving the special handle to the right or left, you rotate the object 180 degrees, witnessing a shape change beyond the perceptions and logical grasp.

Clone Table: This illusion invites you to meet yourself at the same table. The large table you see is actually a circular piece. This piece looks like a complete circle in two mirrors with a 60-degree angle. You sit at the table with 5 exact copies of yourself. Could there be a more perfect game companion?

Kaleidoscope: Here is a wonderland made up of colorful, constantly changing shapes and colors! The colorful patterns at the Illusions Museum are created specifically by visitors through numerous mirrors. The Kaleidoscope is waiting for you!

Beuchet Chair Illusion: Have you ever thought that our perception of a person’s body could depend on the objects around them? In this illusion where you will explore perception rules, all you have to do is sit on the Beuchet chair to acquire different roles and bodies! Moreover, you can take photos that push the limits of your creativity.

Rubin’s Vase: Rubin’s vase is a well-known model developed by Danish psychologist Edgar Rubin in 1915, consisting of complex or double-state, two-dimensional shapes that everyone is familiar with. Of course, you can put flowers in it if you want, but instead of that, you may experience surprising moments while trying to discover hidden faces.

Photo Illusions: Photo illusions are a striking method to confuse your mind and create deceptive perceptions about non-existent objects. Intriguing! You know what they say: the camera never lies!? Don’t be too sure! Nothing is as it seems at the Illusions Museum, not even the photos! You can only be sure that the background of your photos will be unusual and unexpected.

Smart Game Room: Bring out the Einstein inside you and stimulate your curiosity! The smart game room, which allows you to learn while having fun, offers an excellent exercise area for cognitive thinking and strategy development while providing unique learning opportunities. It allows you to take a digital detox with simple methods and at the same time gain access to unique learning opportunities.

Come and explore the world of illusions. Experience the impossible. Never forget to check your phone’s battery and memory in advance.
