Torium Shopping Mall hosts Turkey’s first indoor snow entertainment center, Snowpark, providing uninterrupted skiing and sledding enjoyment throughout all four seasons. In this entertainment park meticulously designed in every detail, real snow is used. With a minimum snow thickness of 50 cm, Snowpark offers maximum snow enjoyment, creating an ideal environment for winter sports.

Snowpark, one of the 40 fun places to visit with children in Istanbul and open every day of the week, offers exciting activities such as snowboarding, skiing, snowtubing, and snowrafting. The park features snow play and walking areas, suspension bridges, and ice caves, providing a unique experience for those seeking a change from city life. In the entertainment area, 130 people can enjoy themselves simultaneously, while 70 people can benefit from the ski and snowboard slopes. Those interested can also receive skiing and snowboarding lessons at Snowpark. The center is equipped with all the necessary equipment for winter sports, and visitors can instantly obtain the desired skiing gear. To ensure visitors can enjoy the thrill of snow at any time of the year, the entrance provides them with cold-resistant boots, jackets, and gloves.

WHERE IS SNOWPARK ISTANBUL? HOW TO GET THERE?

Located in the heart of Istanbul, on the E-5 highway, inside TORIUM Shopping Mall in the Haramidere district. You can reach Snowpark by your own vehicle via E-5 or by taking the Metrobus and getting off at Saadetdere stop in the direction of Beylikdüzü.

OUR SNOWPARK EXPERIENCE WITH KIDS

Shortly after learning that the Snowpark concept I had admired at Emirates Mall in Dubai is now in Istanbul, we find ourselves at Torium Snowpark. Throughout the day, we indulge in the joy of snow and sledding in Istanbul.

Though initially intimidating to travel from the Anatolian side to the other end of Istanbul, Halkalı, with two children, thanks to the early hours of the weekend when the Metrobus is quite calm, we easily reach Torium AVM. Upon entering Snowpark, a staff member takes our boots, jackets, gloves, and helmets. We change into our snow gear, put on our gloves and helmets, and as soon as we step inside the door of Snowpark, we are greeted by a chilly air. We have truly forgotten the cold of the snow; it surprises us. Despite forgetting about the cold, we have missed the snow so much that we touch it everywhere and hug every snow figure we see.

As we move forward, seeing children and families sliding down side by side on the five adjacent slopes, our excitement turns into sheer joy. The three of us rush up the hill, each holding a sled, and the adventure begins. This fun experience takes me back to the days of sliding down the hill in front of the apartment building in my childhood—I love it.

After sliding down here four or five times, we move to the next level and try a longer slide with a rotating course. This is also a lot of fun. After having our fill of sliding, we play a bit of basketball, take a few more photos, and then leave the Snowpark area as we start to feel cold.

Between entering and leaving, about an hour passes—a fully packed hour. When we finally return to our own clothes and the warm environment, after all the exhaustion, sipping hot tea, a warm sense of tranquility fills me.
