3 – THE SHELL – HOLBORN
There is nothing that captures that holiday feeling quite so much as sitting on a sunny day, crisp glass of wine in hand and a loaded plate of seafood in front of you. Regardless of your proximity to the sea, it is one of those dining experiences that seems to whisk you away for a moment or two. The Shell boasts a huge menu of seafood choices, from lobster and crab all the way through to octopus and prawns, with the added bonus of a snazzy oysters. The seafood was incredible and great value given the quantity. It was fresh & delicious. Strongly recommend the Octopus & lobster platter. If you like seafood this is the restaurant for you. They have both hot and cold shellfish platters that will definitely suit anyone. Thanks to the chef’s and waiters at The Shell.

It all began in 2011 with four school friends on a rooftop in London. They cooked up the idea to set up a restaurant where the focus was on perfecting the craft of just two main ingredients.

Set in the historic railway arches, Bob’s Lobster is a haven for seafood lovers and American diner fans. Two worlds you didn’t think could join make a harmonious and truly exciting dining experience. The 1950s themed American diner delivered everything it said it would and more. With elements of the classic Route 66 diners, the unfussy yet glamourous décor is only just an amuse-bouche to the main course of tasty plates that arrive on your table.
