Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by beloved ones and it is one of London’s most romantic restaurants.
Be sure to ask for a spot in the enchanting conservatory. It has a glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. The lunchtime and pre/post theatre menus are great value and are a hit with one and all.
We had the pleasure of dining at Clos Maggiore at the weekend and I can say that the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The menu was so good, with a wide selection of European inspired dishes. I can definitely recommend steak tartare from starters and cornish lamb pave from the mains.
The ambiance of the place was simply stunning, the lighting was soft and romantic, and the decor was elegant and refined. The service was equally impressive, the waiters went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answered all our questions regarding the menus. If you’re looking for a dining experience that is both memorable and delicious, I highly recommend this place.
