Located in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, IKATZA , “charcoal” in Basque language, is the fine dining grill restaurant of the Hotel Victoria, Gran Meliá and offers traditional Basque gastronomy with elegant, creative touches.
The meats are cooked, as is traditional, in the purest Basque style on a specially designed grill.
With a menu based on ingredients deeply rooted in tradition, but with innovative touches, IKATZA offers its diners locally sourced meat and fish, in accordance with market availability. The menu also includes some international cuisine with creative twists, created by Chef Leonel Lovrincevich.
Open every day for dinner, it enables one to choose from a varied á la carte menu or a full tasting menu, both accompanied by faboulicious cocktails and an extensive wine list on which Spanish vineyards predominate.
The restaurant has an elegantly luxurious interior and a smart tiled terrace, with classic-style for al fresco dining by candlelight. Enjoy spectacular views around the Bay, including Palma´s iconic Cathedral, in an elegant, design ambiance.
Every Thursday from June to September, between 19.30 and 22.30hrs, two different menus available (meat or fish) accompanied by live music at Summer Nights & Barbecue.
