Straits Kitchen located on the first floor at Pan Pacific London Hotel, accessed by the lifts or, much better, a beautiful curved wooden staircase leading to a luxuriously furnished restaurant with a bar area to the side. The atmosphere inside is hushed, in contrast to the floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of City life below.

From the menu, we ordered two starters – crispy tiger prawns & dim sum rolls. And from the mains we ordered Atlantic North Sea Steamed Whole Sea Bass & Umami Black Cod marinated with miso teriyaki sauce. The starters arrived promptly. The prawns were big, juicy and encased in a shatteringly crunchy batter. The two big-hitter main courses were cooked to perfection . The diverse selection, impeccable flavors, and warm atmosphere make it a perfect dining destination for any occasion, whether it’s a cozy dinner for two or a gathering of friends seeking a memorable feast.
