Chungdam is a new Korean BBQ restaurant in Soho, featuring table-top grills, classic Korean soul food, limited draft beers and cocktails.
For the uninitiated, Korean barbecue is about cooking at the table, often as a group. Chungdam supplies cuts of marinated meat with vegetables and more, then you cook it yourself on a electric grill set into the table. While summer tends to be peak British barbecue season, you can get your smoky meats any time of the year at these authentic eatery. There’s no need to worry about the weather playing ball either, as all of the cooking is done inside.
The Chungdam team is not so professional, the manager is sniffy. Food is ok and prices are above the average. You can find better alternatives in Central London.
