Florya Menekşe Beach, located between Küçükçekmece Lake and Florya Güneş Beach, is a public beach operated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. It stretches along a 600-meter shoreline and offers services such as sunbeds, umbrellas, shower cabins, toilets, and three snack bars.
Here, people can relax on the sandy beach, sunbathe, swim, and even have picnics and barbecues. On weekends, especially during holiday periods, it can get crowded. To ensure safety, a rescue boat and an ambulance are available on standby, and there is a parking lot with a capacity of 120 vehicles. Outside food and beverages are not allowed on the beach.
FLORYA MENEKSE BEACH 2023 ENTRANCE FEE
The entrance fee for adults is 40 TL per person, and for students, it is 18 TL.
Children aged 0-7, disabled citizens and their companions can enjoy the beach free of charge. The entrance fee includes the use of changing rooms, shower facilities, and toilets. Optionally, you can rent a sunbed (18 TL) and an umbrella (18 TL). The rental fee for a locker is 5 TL. Considering the crowds, renting a locker is quite practical. Payments are made with the Istanbul Card.
HOW TO GET TO FLORYA MENEKSE BEACH?
The fastest way to reach Florya Menekse Beach is by using the Metrobus. After getting off at Kucukcekmece station, you need to walk towards the sea for about 5 minutes.
FOOD AT FLORYA MENEKSE BEACH
